‘Reactivity Reframed’ Workshop

Our flagship workshop and one we love presenting!

Reactivity Reframed is a collaboration between local dog trainers with a passion to help guardians sharing their lives with a dog who over reacts to people, dogs, noise, traffic, you name it!

You’ll get the benefits of our combined knowledge and expertise in one event.

Through the workshop we’ll share insights into what motivates over responsive behaviours in your dog. We’ll explain how you can support your dog with their behaviour choices for better outcomes.

You’ll discover ways to help you build your confidence to work through challenging situations with your dog too.

You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of canine body language, and how it can help you to help your dog. There are opportunities to try out practical skills, which you can take home and work on with your own dog. The workshop finishes with a Q&A session.

Following the event you’ll be invited to join our Capable Canines Community Facebook page where you can connect with like-minded guardians, find and offer support, and build friendships. We also organise regular face-to-face meet ups for coffee and a chat.

Follow on options to work in-person with your dog

I went to reactivity clinic to learn more about dog behaviours, as a vet physio, and to see how reactivity can be linked with pain, it was brilliant, informative & fun, totally recommend.

Mel (Veterinary Physiotherapist) - ‘Reactivity Reframed’ Workshop

Tara gave a very instructive talk on reactive dogs and gave me so many things to try. There is also a follow up Facebook page where owners can talk about their successes and problems and get feedback. Also a chance to meet others for a coffee and discuss experiences. Well recommended.

Tara from Paws and Minds Dog Training enjoying quality time with her dog on the beach

thoroughly recommend working with Tara

I attended a Reactive Dog Workshop and met Tara. …I also became a member of the Capable Canines Facebook Group at that time, a group for guardians of reactive dogs, in which they have a safe space to share the ups and downs of having a ‘different’ dog.

Through this group I have also made some new friends and that has been a particular highlight for me because I live rurally and let’s face it, it can be really lonely owning a dog that can be seen as ‘anti-social’.

I would thoroughly recommend working with Tara if you have any dog training issues.
